Electoral Commission Commences Construction of Headquarters in Lweza
Government, through the National Housing and Construction Company (NHCCL), has allocated an 80-acre plot in Lweza, Lubowa along Entebbe Road for the construction of a permanent headquarters for the Electoral Commission. This follows a request by the Commission for a dedicated space to enhance operational efficiency. Electoral Commission Chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama welcomed the development, noting that future election activities—including nominations and vote tallying—will be conducted at the new facility.
