Today we take a brief walk through some highlights of the Historic Art District in Cascais, the Historic Centre and the beaches along the promenade.
There is SO much to see and do in Cascais - mostly food, drinks and beaches. I can't capture it all in one video, but hope to share some of my neighbourhood's highlights. There are many, many restaurants and bars and it makes for a great day or night out. Beaches are big with fluffy sand and places for many to sit, swim or play. Beach tennis, volleyball and even yoga is a daily occurrence somewhere along the beach.
Many tourists visit throughout the year and you can hear almost every accent around the globe at some point on a walk.
Cascais is a great choice for first-timers to Portugal that want to be close to Lisbon, but not feel like they're living in a big City, yet have all the amenities of a big city. Plus many people speak English here as there are so many tourists year-round.
