Sounds like a crunchy, sweet, and salty dream 😋! Here's a simple recipe for Makhana ( foxnuts), Peanuts Salted Caramel Chocolate Brittle:
Ingredients:
1 cup makhana (fox nuts) roasted and crumbled
1/2 cup peanuts roasted and cleaned,crumbled
1 cup jaggery cubes
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tap elaichi powder
4 to 5 drops vanilla essence
1/2 cup melted chocolate
1/4 tsp salt
some brittles of roasted makhana for toppings
Method:
1. Roast makhana and peanuts separately until crisp. Crumble them in a mixer coarsely.
2. Make caramel: Heat jaggery, water,salt,vanilla essence until a gum texture.
3. Drop the makhana-peanut mixture in the heated jaggery liquid and mix well.
4. Grease a plate with ghee and drop the mixture till it cools to a brittle form.
4. Melt chocolate, pour over set caramel mix in another cup.
5. Sprinkle some crumbles of makhana on top.
Serve in a tray with lot
of smile and good
