Keep in mind, hands view and gameplay are completely different runs.
Here it is, the best song to ever grace the RBN and it isn't even close... all my opinion though. :)
I've been wanting to get both parts of this for about 4-5 years now. I just love playing this drum chart so much. Hearing the song alone is enough to put such a big grin on my face. Sadly we only have 2 parts of this due to the song length limit being exactly 10 minutes. But at the same time, if that didn’t exist there's no doubt this would've been in the Top 10 hardest in the game so thank god lol. But enough glazing - let's yap about both charts, where the hard parts are, and what my grind time was like with them.
Starting with Part 1 (0:00): The hardest of the two. Where do I even begin? Oh I know! Right before the verse starts, you have this pattern at 1:02 with some double reds and yellows. The catch is however that the two yellows are in between a kick, making it very weird to execute. Following that up with a crossover fill that goes RYYYBB(GO). My way of hitting is to play LRLLRLR, I would've done it right hand lead natural sticking but the transition goes by so fast you barely have time to think. NOW we get to the actual first very difficult part of the song, 4 minutes later however with this DISGUSTING fill at 5:09. Let's not worry about the kicks, but instead worry about the pads. So the first two yellows I do a LR, rest I do RL. Then the (BG)B - my right hand goes up to double stroke the blue while my left hand goes to the green, rather than having to double stroke with your left hand which I found less consistent the more I played it. Right after that's done, starting at 5:18 you have this roll that gradually speeds up, then the hihats come in with off sync kicks where if you aren't locked tf in, it can be very easy to miss on. Alright, with me so far? Now let's talk about the big meat on the bone section, the Drum Solo at 6:43. Almost immediately you see this insane crossover fill that goes RYBG KK RYBG KK. It would've been more consistent imo if they were evenly spaced like any other quad fill. You always can't have nice things at the end of the day sadly enough, but safe to say tho it's a very daunting pattern. Then you have some very fast red rolls with a repeating crossover fill, during attempts I missed there and it was my farthest run for MONTHS. You get a break for like 10 seconds, then you deal with these disco pattern where it doesn't look bad at all but under nerves is such a run killer...... ALL OF THIS HIT ON MY VERY FIRST RUN OF THE DAY BOOTING UP IN QUICKPLAY!!!!! I'm still so astonished by that but thankful tho because this was my first run past the Solo, so that means no chokes which was HUGE. Definitely in my Top 15 best FCs I've done so far. Crazy... crazy crazy crazy.
Part 2 (9:44): This one isn't too bad compared to Part 1 but still tough all things considered. First things first, it comes off swinging with these two big fills at 10:35 and 10:51 that tripped me up for a while. Past that there really isn’t much - except starting from 13:47-14:38 you have this double stroke hihat and ride pattern that repeats throughout slowly adding a bit more notes to the section. Once that’s done, you get punched in the face with a big fill and then a repeat of the intro riff originally in Part 1. You have two more very chokable fills at 15:11 and 15:57, then it’s just controlling your nerves from there.
I did both of these back to back in one day in an HOUR. I really just…. bruh theres not much I can say other than, bruh lol
