Kia has sold hatchbacks in North America for a number of years, but you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone willing to describe them as hot hatches.
Until now.
With Kia ushering in the second generation Forte5, it has brought along a new 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque.
Add in the SX trim's sport-tuned suspension, and the new Forte5 earns the hot hatch designation.
