US President Donald Trump said the United States remains in contact with Iran but questioned whether Tehran is ready for serious negotiations, as tensions continue to escalate in the region.
Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump claimed Iran’s military capabilities have been significantly weakened and said US strikes have targeted the country’s drone manufacturing facilities.
He also accused Iran of spreading AI-generated disinformation about the conflict, including false images of attacks on US military assets.
At the same time, Trump has urged several countries to send naval support to keep shipping routes open through the Strait of Hormuz.
