A season that left Peppermints deflated last year. Much promise, but little to show for it!
A Deep run to the quater finals of the Champions League ended with defeat to Spurs. We lost both domestic cup finals - making it two season on the trot of reaching both the Caraboa Cup and the FA Cup Final, winning only one of four.
The lack of depth and heavy rotation needed to play almost 60 matches in a season resulted in many disappointing league results. The saving grace a final day win against Man City to scrape into 7th place and qualify for the Conference League.
The board are stuck 'searching for a site' after approving plans to build a 26,125 capacity stadium in our home of Newquay.
So, we go again in our 15th season at the helm. I'm expecting a proper top four finish this season and deep runs in all the cups as per the Perppermint legacy!
Can we continue to strengthen our squad and make a challenge for the Premier League title?
