Let's get things going!

It's time, ladies and gentlemen. My final four months of video game covers until I focus exclusively on original music. I've been preparing these covers since April, and have been excited to share them. The next few months, save for three videos, will be reworks of old covers I wish I could have done better. And I figured no better place to start than the one song that started it all for video game covers on my channel: Green Hill Zone.

The original version of this cover was plagued by muddiness, fizziness, inaudible drums (because I had them too far down in the mix), not a very good arrangement, and zero energy in the video. It was immediately my first candidate for a rework, especially getting that rhythmic chorus tighter. It was my first attempt at a "djent" section, and I didn't do it very well. Nowadays, since I've immersed myself in Periphery, I think I did it much better. I now know what to do with it!

Redo covers will be continual for Saturdays! See you soon!
