Highlights of a brilliant week of diving around Pico Island, Azores. This included a 100 minute dive with up to 5 Blue Sharks*, seeing over a dozen Mobula at Princess Alice's Sea Mount and over a dozen Sperm Whales while Whale Watching. (* This one of my All-Time Top 5 Best Dives in over 25 years of diving round the globe!)
Many thanks to CW Azores Divers in Madalena, Pico and, in particular, our DMs Anthony and Ricardo. The whole dive operation was excellent: friendly, well organised, good safe ethic, and with good quality kit (though we bought our own with us). We might have been lucky but, we saw everything we'd hoped to see, and in good numbers too. Highly recommended.
