Brakes!! Often overlooked but arguably the key component to that last bit of lap time.
Flyin Miata has developed a top shelf option to put 4 piston calipers on all 4 corners of your miata without braking the bank. The install is almost bolt on and the performance gains and pedal feel are truly impressive.
Working with Hawk performance we also did a little testing to get the right pad for my application. With just some simple brake temp paint we could determine that the DTC-30 compound was not up to the task with the new turbo power. Stepping up to the DTC-60 compound guaranteed stopping power no matter the temps we saw. Once again the Talon rotors proved track capable with no warping or cracks, even seeing temps over 1400 degrees!
