CC01 Custom vs Stock, Let see which one is better? What do you think before watching?

Went trailing in St Therese Quebec with a Stock and full custom Tamiya CC01 to see which performs better under regular trailing.


Stock CC01 only has better tires, as we all know the stock Tamiya tires just don't cut it and the front and rear diffs are locked. It weighs in at 4.5 pounds with a Lexan Body.

Custom CC01 also has softer tires as well as a Custom more steering mod, GPM Shocks Front and rear with the rear ones being 90mm with custom towers. GPM From A Arms and skid plate and rear Top Cad 4 Link suspension mounts. Custom 100mm Body ift setup and the front chassis plastic was cut off and a REAL custom skid plate was installed. Axial AE-2 ESC with Drag brake. The front and rear Diffs are locked and 500k weight oil on the gears making for some resistance in driving that almost completely stops fake looking jump starts. It weighs in at 5.5 pounds. YUP a full pound heavier than stock. Plastic Hard shell Body makes it top heavy.
