The marvelous Louis van Dijk, who has seem to be forgotten lately, plays his impovisation on the 1969 classic The Windmills of Your Mind.
I decided to upload it because I couldn't find it anywhere on the web and it deserves a place in music history.
During the improvisation, Van Dijk slowly turns the song into a Bach fugue and drifts away, accompanied by drums, into passionate grandeur.
