Coronavirus cases in the US set a new record high with more than 142,000 infections detected on November 11, 2020. It was also the ninth straight day that new cases surpassed 100,000 in the country.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to balloon worldwide, the US remains the hardest-hit nation with more than 10 million cases and at least 240,000 deaths so far.
