A full process of sculpting Allosaurus fragililis.
No specific scale to apply, yet I based it on a somewhat scaled skeletal drawing by Dr. Scott Hartman.
I started this one in 2022 August, so it took me about a year, on and off process of course.
Yes, yes it took too much for just one sculpture even as in a hobbiest standard.
Nevertheless, I'm happy I finished it eventually.
Personally, I don't imagine dinosaurs with super fancy horns or osteoderms unless they are confirmed in the fossil record.
So I didn't put any specific skin texture or osteoderms.
sometimes those things are hm...it's just... too much. so I rather not to.
I'm almost done molding and casting this and soon release them to sell.
also, plan to paint one and make a video about it.

작년 8월에 시작해서 일년 가까이 걸린 알로사우루스 프라길리스 조형 작업.
작업을 하다말다 하는 바람에, 사실 실제로 투입한 시간은 그렇게 길지 않지만
취미로 하는 작업이라곤 해도 너무 오래 걸리긴 했다.
그래도 결과물은 아주 마음에 든다.
특별히 스케일을 정해 작업한것은 아니지만, 스콧 하르트만 박사의 골격도를 바탕으로 한 것이므로 비율 등이 심각하게 어긋나지는 않았을것이라 생각한다.
개인적으로 난 공룡, 특히 대형 수각류 공룡의 몸에 이런저런 가시나 뼈 돌기를 표현하는걸 썩 좋아하지 않는 것 같다.
물론 화석증거로 확인된 경우는 예외지만, 생물에 괜한 장식만 다는것 같다고 할까.
그래서 이번 작업에서도 눈위의 돌기를 제외하고는 특별이 그런 부분을 표현하지 않았다.

몰드 제작과 복제 작업은 왠만큼 끝났고, 하나 골라서 도색 작업도 해볼 생각이다.
