Hamlin’s Postgraduate Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Midwifery will soon launch. And it is the first of its kind in Ethiopia! This two and a half year Masters in Midwifery will increase the number and skill level of midwives, significantly upscaling Hamlin’s prevention strategy.
The Masters in Midwifery will provide midwives with advanced clinical practice, including the skills to perform emergency caesarean deliveries for complicated cases. This is hugely impactful. Graduates will also go on to train and mentor midwives all over Ethiopia, preventing fistula and reducing maternal and neonatal deaths.
