ricotta crostini with balsamic, caramelized onions, honey & sea salt
Ingredients:
1/2 baguette
1tsp olive oil
1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
1 pinch kosher salt
1 cup ricotta cheese
Honey
Balsamic glaze
Sea salt for garnish
1. Slice the baguette and toast until lightly brown
2. Sauté onion in a pan with olive oil until onion turns brown and caramelized.
3. To assemble, place one teaspoon of ricotta cheese on each round, followed by by caramelized onion and drizzle with balsamic and honey. Sprinkle with sea salt.
