This game is widely considered one of the best games on MSX2, not just because it is a rare exclusive that was never ported anywhere else, but it is a solid shmup with an amazing soundtrack. The difficulty is pretty extreme and momentum based (meaning once you lose your power ups you might as well start from the beginning) and I was finding it difficult to capture screenshots beyond stage 1 - the Hardcore Gaming 101 article I borrowed some screenshots from starts off with an impressive statement: "Space Manbow is the most beautiful 8-bit shooter in existence".

One of the tidbits about the soundtrack is it is one of the first works that Michiru Yamane contributed to, who of course is legendary for her contributions to the Castlevania series.
