Trans-radial Wax Shaping Technique!

Here's a short video of me using some bees wax to mould and shape a trans radial below elbow prosthesis.
Make sure the hot water is at 60 degrees, as not to separate the paraffin from the wax, because you're going to reuse this stuff!
I use a sureform blade to shape, followed by my leather knife, to get it smooth.
Once I'm happy with the shape, and have allowed an extra 10mm circumference for the layup and resin, I apply some talc so donning the PVA bag is possible.
Under vacuum, I apply a gentle heat with my heat gun, and that gets the finish nice and smooth. It's also very relaxing to watch!
