Описание: Vindalho, Vindaloo or Vindhial as it's known in different communities, is a dish inspired by the Portuguese. It's belnd of spices though is distinctly Goan. Red Chillies are ground together with other spices, lots of garlic and ginger and vinegar. This masala is perfect to cook Pork, Chicken or even Fish

Ingredients & Quantity

Dried kashmiri chillies - 20 nos
garlic - 6 cloves
ginger - 1 inch piece
cloves - 6
cinnamon - 1 inch stick
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
black peppercorns - 10
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
goan toddy vinegar - 50 ml

Method,
1) Clean, de stem and de seeds all of the kashmiri chillies and soak them in vinegar for some time. i'm removing all the seeds because i don't want the masala to be spicy. your'll can add slited green chilli later when using the masala. soaking chillies in vinegar or water helps to soften the surface of the chillies which also reduces your grinding time and give a very fine texture.
2) Place all the ingredients on the grinding stone and start grinding it into fine paste using vinegar.
3) This masala is used to prepare goan popular dish called pork vindaloo.
4) Your'll can also use mixer for making this masala
