We fear revealing our sin more than concealing our sin. We think the consequences are going to be worse if we tell others what is really going on. But unconfessed sin will tear you apart from the inside out. And so it's no wonder that Psalm 32 shows us that what we hide destroys us, but what we confess restores us.
