Michael Nesmith played the Armadillo World Headquarters in September, 1979 after this album came out. I was at the show and he played a 45 minute set and then left the stage and did not return. Some people were disappointed and there were a few boos because they wanted more. This, for some reason, was picked up by some news wire services and recounted in newspapers across the country under the headline “Former Monkee Booed”
