Описание: Long version of the Early Ashford Traveller Double Drive showing both the DD and Scotch tension working. The wheel is a good wheel with the flyer on the left and that was from the factory. I confirmed with the factory that they did make some that way when they started the Traveller Line of wheels. The flyer is also different than the newer wheels but it is all Ashford Original. The wheel works great and is quiet and will spin and ply without any issues. I do set tensions light but just enough to draw up the yarn and enough to drive the flyer. I never over tension the drive bands or tension adjustment for Scotch Tension setups. This wheel is a factory Double Drive Wheel and is also set up to use Scotch Tension if desired. It is a sought after wheel because it will do either Double Drive or Scotch Tension. Both are excellent for setups but you may prefer one way over the other. I prefer Double Drive but use both on my Traditional.
