Tackling The Craig Road, Monmouth, on my 2017 Honda CRF250L.
This was the most challenging green lane I had faced to date.
A long, steep and muddy hill climb with rocky steps and ledges to hinder climb progress. I spent a lot of time stuck and/or on the floor, out of breath, sweating and struggling - but determination and perseverance saw me to the top.
In hind sight, the MITAS 09s weren’t particularly suited to muddy climbs and were well worn with only a few mil of tread left - although this is me finding excuse for poor technique and fitness. Improvement needed.
