Ingredients:
For the Beef:
• Beef chuck, shin, or brisket – 500g | 1 lb
• Olive oil – 1 tbsp | 15ml
• Onion, chopped – 1 small | 100g
• Garlic, minced – 2 cloves | 6g | 2 tsp
• Beef broth or water – 250ml | 1 cup
• Worcestershire sauce – 1 tbsp | 15ml
• Dried thyme – 1 tsp | 1g
• Salt – ½ tsp | 3g
• Pepper – ½ tsp | 1g
For the Pie:
• Refrigerated pie crusts – about 400g total | UK/US: 2 crusts, shortcrust and puff pastry
• Egg, beaten for egg wash

Oven to 190°C | 375°F. Bake 30-35 minutes until golden.
