They ultimately selected Bratney for the project being a "one stop shop" for the process design, milling equipment, construction and millwright services required to deliver the facility in turn-key fashion - allowing them to continue operating their existing flour mill, soybean processing plant and seed business during construction of the new project.

Matthew Sharrer, Operations Manager, and David Sharrer, General Manager, both 5th generation family operators of the business discuss the project goals, specific challenges for food safety and sanitation and energy savings that Bratney brought to the project with highly-innovative, direct-drive Omas roll stands.

Bratney delivered a new flour mill with a forward thinking layout to easily accommodate future expansion, a sanitary design that leaves prospective customers highly confident in the quality and cleanliness of the flour and an energy saving technology in the Omas roller mills Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) that offered game changing energy savings allowing Ag Com to do the project with limited electrical supply to their site.
