Welcome! At this moment you might be wondering "What is Solutionism?" Well, the short version comes down to this: "Do you want to change the world? Then clean up your own backyard! Let's all start there and make our own lives better. Then we can move on up and out. But if we don't do that we won't change anything else. However, if we do accomplish that then the rest is inevitable".

So, what is Solutionism? Well, first it is about ACTION! Second, it is about POWER but as an acronym as follows - People Organizing With Effective Results (P.O.W.E.R.). Specifically, it is people who are proponents of activities such as permaculture, organic gardening, community farming, alternative energy, alternative health practices, alternative currencies and other effective solutions who join here to work together to create a better world.

Solutionism may be viewed by those activists who are fighting government and corporate oppression and corruption in the name of individual liberty as the "liberty movement" two point zero. For people already working on solutions it is an opportunity to expand your positive influence to more people and benefit from the solutions of others.

Solutionism solves the problems inherent in the liberty movement by focusing on solutions instead of problems and by being embracive of people of all perspectives as long as they want to take a sincere and active role in manifesting positive change for the betterment of all. We have no agenda and no ideology.

Topics of discussion and activity are quite diverse but all focused on the solution side of the ledger. We are here to facilitate greater communication between and amongst individuals who have solutions or want solutions in areas such as local economy (as in alternative currency and barter systems), organic gardening and community farming, permaculture and other models for sustainability. Also within our sphere of activity would be improving communication between the people and authorities so as to break down artificial barriers, self defense instruction in martial arts, improving the financial outlook of all through new business models and technologies, alternative energy solutions and ways to live in more integrated and mutually beneficial ways with our environment and much more. Essentially anything where solutions exist and people want to move them forward. Even things like the zillion ways to use hydrogen peroxide and random but beneficial tidbits of that kind are welcome here.

You can only get so far fighting the negativity in the world but by embracing, focusing on and reinforcing real solutions we can make a better world. Welcome to Solutionism!
