Recently I purchased a 25 card insert set from 2010 Topps flagship titled History of the Game. The cards highlight 25 moments in baseball history. But I was very disappointed in most of their choices. So I was inspired to highlight my own list of 25 events in baseball history that shaped our current game more than any other. I expect many of you will disagree with many of my choices, and I welcome your disagreement. I am hoping this inspires others to make their own similar lists. Don’t feel obligated to pick 25. Five or ten would be equally welcome. I’m just trying to start a conversation, and to correct Topps’ enormous blunder. I look forward to hearing what you all have to say.
