🍕 The Perfect Overnight Pizza Dough
Easy overnight pizza dough recipe! Learn how to make homemade pizza dough the night before and bake delicious pizza the next day. This simple recipe makes soft, airy, and crispy pizza crust. Perfect for beginners or pros who want restaurant-style pizza at home.
✨ Ingredients:
• 350 g bread flour (or all-purpose flour)
• 218 g water (room temperature)
• 1 g instant yeast
• 9 g salt
• 7 g olive oil
• Semolina flour (for shaping)
Toppings: tomato sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, pesto (or any of your favorites)
🥖 Method:
1.In a bowl, mix water and yeast. Add half of the flour and stir into a creamy mixture.
2.Add salt, then the remaining flour, and mix until shaggy.
3.Add olive oil and mix again.
4.Transfer to a clean surface and knead 5–10 minutes.
5.Cover (inverted bowl works well) and rest for 30 minutes.
6.With wet hands, fold the dough. Rest 30 minutes. Repeat the fold once more.
7.Oil a bowl, place the dough inside, and rest 2 hours at room temp.
8.Refrigerate overnight.
9.Next morning, remove from fridge and rest 2 hours.
10.Divide into 2 dough balls, rest in oiled containers for 2 hours.
11.Shape dough on semolina, add sauce and toppings.
12.Bake on a pizza stone at max temp for 3 minutes.
13.Add parmesan + mozzarella, bake until crust is golden and cheese melted.
14.Finish with pesto (optional but highly recommended!).
