Dr. Elisa Ferrante, Principal Investigator of the CADASIL Disease Discovery Study as well as the Clinical Program Manager/Staff Scientist at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, Transitional Vascular Medicine Branch in Bethesda, MD discusses the significance of clinical studies of CADASIL that are being conducted at the NIH. She will also provide updates on the NIH CADASIL Pilot and CADASIL Disease Discovery studies, which are aimed at understanding the development and progression of the disease.
