This was the second in a series of 19 weekly BBC radio broadcasts introduced by Sir John Betjeman (later Poet Laureate). It was broadcast on 26 November 1965 and features the choir of Chester Cathedral, directed by John Sanders, with assistant organist Harold Hullah.
