This webinar / live coding session took part as a Tartu Geo Code Meetup organized by the Landscape Geoinformatics Lab (Department of Geography of the University of Tartu) on the 27th April, 2021.

We have the pleasure to host PhD students from the Department of Geography of the University of Tartu again to show some live coding of satellite data processing with Python and Jupyter notebooks.

During the workshop, the participants will learn how to do a simple workflow for data wrangling and perform trend analysis. Holger and Bruno also explain how to handle and apply different operations on raster data in Python, in particular with netCDF data and xarray. Some of the operations are raster values check (e.g. outliers and NA); create and apply functions and use conditional statements.
