We try the pie that failed us the first time and come up with something so much better! This viewer suggested cookbook was created by a fascinating woman and is a wonderful addition to my collection. Her Shoofly Pie made us a fan and we'll definitely be making it again!
Cookbook used: Mennonite Community Cookbook by Mary Emma Showalter 1950 although a 65th anniversary edition was reprinted in 2015 available on Amazon.
