In todays episode I turned my worn out bed sheets into a dress. I've had these hole infested sheets for months and I really didn't want to throw them away. I really felt like I was up for the challenge to make something out of all that fabric...it was too tempting to pass up lol This project pushed me much further than I expected though. Not only was I sewing my first dress, I also learned some new skills to add to my "been there, done that" list.
Cutting into bed sheets felt terrifying… but learning how to do a lining and finish a hem properly made it feel like I was actually progressing in my sewing journey. Now I'll have to raid my linen cabinet again. 😂
