Applications for reserving seats for BTS's upcoming free comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square became available at 8 PM on Monday, Korean time, through NOL Ticket.
Limited to one per person, the reservation was for tickets that denote a seat in the seating area for those who apply.
The concert on March 21 is the group's first comeback in three years and nine months, and coincides with the release of the band's 5th studio album "ARIRANG" on March 20.
Ahead of the applications, Seoul police said they had closely monitored online activity and blocked 34 posts promoting proxy ticketing or resales.
The authorities said tickets acquired through unfair means will be invalid as they will be linked to the applicant's ID registration that will be strictly checked before admission to the site.
