I use my large class 3 mobility scooters (A Kymco Maxer) with my dog Olly to do the walk.
I started this walk from Findatie Car Park, which is at the Ballingry side of Loch Leven.
Though this time we went right around Loch Leven. This is Also the first time that I have been right around Loch Leven since the path was resurfaced.
I then went around the East side of Loch Leven. This side is mostly woodland. Portmoak Gliding Scottish Gliding Centre can be seen along a bit of this path. I've seen Glider being pulled up by airplane.
The Bishop Hill, and the villages of Scotlandwell and Kinnesswood can also be seen from along this path, though the The Bishop Hill can be seen from all around Loch Leven and further.
A little further on around the path there's Loch Leven Larder restaurant where you can visit for a break before continuing on.
Further around again, there's Kirkgate Park and Kinross.
A littler further on again there's Loch Leven Harbour and Loch Leven Fisheries And Boat trips to Lochleven Castle. There was a café there as well, but I think it's been closed for quite some time.
Continuing on further along the path, you come to the RSPB Scotland Loch Leven Nature Reserve (Vane Farm).
A little further on is Findatie Car Park where I started from.
I have been around Loch Leven, Kinross on my Mobility Scooter quite a number of times. Though, I mostly just do parts of Loch Leven. Such as the Findatie Car Park which is at the Ballingry side of Loch Leven then go around to the right through the woodland and around to the path to Loch Leven Larder restaurant then back to the car park. The other route that I normally do is from the Loch Leven harbour car park then from there to path the north of Loch Leven to Loch Leven Larder restaurant then back to the harbour car park.
