1. First of all, go to https://ipo.gov.pk/
2. Click on the “Trademark” Drop menu & after that click on the option of “Online filing (apply)”
3. Login window is opened in your screen. Click here “Registration” option available.
4. New Registration window is opened in your screen
5. Step-I: Mobile number & Email address verification (Fill the required data, now, you will receive a code on SMS and email as well. Put that code in opened interface. Click “save & verify” button and submit/continue.)
6. Step II: Authorized Representative Detail
Providing the following Information:
• Register as “Self or Representative”
• CNIC
• Full name
• Gender
• Mobile no”
• Email address
• Landline
• Fax no
• Corresponding address
• Province
• City
7. At last, and final step Click the “Term & Conditions Policy” box, fill the captcha code and click save & continue.
8. Now your Registration with IPO-PAKISTAN as online registration of Trademark is successful. You will receive your registration number (CNIC), password and pin on SMS and e-mail as well.
9. Now put that ID & password in IPO Login.

10. Now New window is opened in your screen (“Trademark: Forms & Fee”) Click the Add (+) button of Tm 01 for initializing the process of Online Application for Trademark registration
11. In Next Window there are following five Sections of Application:
I. Form
II. Attachment (s)
III. Review
IV. Fee
V. Submit

12. In First Section of “Forms”
• Select Designated IPO Office”.
• Then Class no. for which you are applying for. There are 45 different classes of Goods & services available for Trademark registration
• Then provide Description/Detail of Goods/Services/Mark/Logo (e.g. What is your product service as: Soap)
• Them provide Owner and Business details. Business type: Sole proprietorship, Partnership firm, Private or Public limited company or others
• Provide details/particulars of Proprietor/Partner/Director in either case (CNIC, Nationality, Residential Address etc.)
• Provide Trading as (Business Name)
• Provide Business address
• Provide Country, Province and City
• Provide Since: Period of Use of Trademark/Purposed to be used
• Provide Mark Type: Word mark/Design mark/Word and Design mark
• Provide Domain Name (indicating whether it is in respect of goods or services)
• Provide color claimed (If no color is claimed then put NA/ in this option)
After all this, Click save and continue

13. In Second Section of “Attachment (s)
• Upload/Provide Logo/Mark /Monogram
• Upload/Provide Business documents as partnership deed in case of Partnership firm and CNIC in case of Sole Proprietorship etc.
After all this, Click next button

14. In Third Section of “Review”
All the information provided will be shown in the shape of a form. You can recheck and cross verify every detail provided. You can also take a print of this form.
After all this, click next button

15. In Section Four of “Fee”
• Select the method of payment and click the button “proceed to pay”
• In next opened window, provide card details (Card number, Mobile number, CVV number & Card expiry)
• Click the “Pay” button and check the authentication result. Within few minutes you will see the status of Payment as “PAID” in “Fee” section.
• You can also make this payment through Jazzcash option available in “Fee” section by providing your Jazzcash number
• Fee for online Trademark registration of TM 01 is Rupees 3,000/-

16. In Final and Last Section of “Submit”
You will be again provided with all the filled information. After thorough review, put PIN code required at the bottom of this page and submit.

Note:
This is the first step in Trademark registration; you will get an acknowledgment receipt within one month of filing of Application under TM 01. After this you will received different letters in which you are asked to reply that. After 1 year approximately you will have to file a form of TM 011 for final registration of Trademark along with a fee of Rs. 9,000/- in case where no objection/opposition arises. This process takes a time of 1 to 1.5 years for complete registration.
