Highlights from the Samsung Galaxy S III Launch Event in New York City

Описание: Samsung put on one hell of a show yesterday at Skylight SoHo in NYC.

They had guests like former NBA legend Walt Frazier, actress Ashley Greene, and NBA stars Steve Nash, Kevin Love and Stephen Curry. Basically they set up stations demoing many of the cool aspects of the Galaxy S III such as S Beam, Pop Up Video, TecTiles, AllShare Play, Share Shot, and Group Cast.

There really wasn't anything new, but was most interesting was they way the presented things. They had some really creative stuff set up so people could understand how these features work. For example, by utilizing Group Cast, they would display a picture on five different phones. User would be asked to find a particular animal in the picture and circle it. Winners would have donations sent to the Wild Wildlife Fund. They also set up a bar in which you could order a drink or dish using S Beam. Last but not least they showed off a new Cinema Game, which will hit movie theaters across the country as a marketing campaign for S Beam. It's a game in which the audience interacts by waving their arms in order to move the 3D Galaxy S III towards flying Galaxy S IIIs to get them to connect (like S Beam). They even brought in Rob the Barista and Peter Bryce
