It's time to connect with Edward Hayden from his kitchen in picturesque Graignamanagh. This evening Edward is making Iced Apple & Pastry Buns 🧁️ using Highbank Orchards apple syrup 🍎🍏
Here are the other ingredients:
Sweet Pastry:
10oz/300g plain flour
4oz/110g caster sugar
5oz/150g butter
1 large egg
Fillings
2 large cooking apples-peeled and diced 🍎🍏
1oz/25g caster sugar
1 or 2 tablespoons water
Bun Mixture:
4oz/110g butter (softened)
4oz/110g caster sugar
6oz/250g self raising flour
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon Highbank Orchards Apple Syrup 🍎🍏
Toppings
4oz/110g icing sugar
2 tablespoons toasted flaked almonds
