There are concerns over the China-led naval exercise dubbed ‘Will For
Peace 2026’ this Friday on South African waters. It will include the
participation of some BRICS Plus nations such as Iran. With the
geo-political developments, the DA has criticised the exercise, saying
hosting such exercises raises questions on the country's non-aligned
stance. Defence analyst at the Institute of Race Relations Ricardo
Teixeira has his take.
