German Shepherd stuck in the L.A. River until Loreta and I were called! Happy Valentine's Day!

Описание: Cobra was stuck in the L.A. River for many days. The closest entry point to this segment of the L.A. River was many miles away, but as soon as Cesar spotted him and threw food down, Cobra stayed at the same location.

Loreta Frankonyte told our little Paddington (who doesn't like to stay alone) that this was important and that she had to go with me. Being a rescued dog himself, he understands that, and he just asked that you watch his Valentine's Day video:   / xoxopaddington  

Just two days before the rescue, I bought a hand winch, and it was just perfect for this rescue because lifting him without it would have been a nightmare!

After going down to the river, I had to walk towards the dog and hope he wouldn't bolt and run for miles. I don't want to give the story away... it's best to just watch.

It is important to know that the timing was amazing because heavy rains started in Los Angeles this week, and the river is now completely full of water! (I know, it's pretty ridiculous to call this thing a river). :-)

Cobra did have an old collar that used to have an Apple AirTag on it, but the AirTag is long gone, and because he doesn't have a microchip, I have no way to track his owners (I looked at all the websites available for finding lost pets, and couldn't find him anywhere).
