The Medical Informatics Platform (MIP), built by Subproject 8 of the Human Brain Project, provides sophisticated tools for researchers, clinicians and epidemiologists, to name but a few, for exploration and analysis of Big Data relevant to brain diseases. The MIP is a web-based platform allowing users not only to share data and know-how, but also to collaborate in a true translational way.
By developing a platform to collect and manage millions of brain images, scans and files in one comprehensive database, The Medical Informatics Platform enables neuroscientists clinicians and medical professionals across the globe to access the information they need quickly, in a streamlined and far more productive manner than ever before.
