THESEUS – The Rise of Athens | Theseus vs Minotaur | Epic Greek Myth Film

Описание: Every kingdom tells a lie about how it began. Ours is a good one.

A boy lifts a rock and learns he is the hidden son of the King of Athens. To claim his name, Theseus refuses the safe sea road and walks the Isthmus — a corridor of murderers: Periphetes the Clubman, Sinis the Pine-Bender, the Crommyonian Sow, Sciron of the cliffs, Cercyon the wrestler, and Procrustes and his iron bed.

In Athens he finds a frightened king, a sorceress with poison in a golden cup, and a debt owed across the sea: fourteen children sent every nine years into the Labyrinth of Crete. Armed with a bronze sword and Ariadne's golden thread, Theseus goes into the dark to face the Minotaur — and comes home under the wrong sail.

THESEUS: THE RISE OF ATHENS is an epic action film adapted from the ancient Greek myth cycle — the story of how a hero put down the club and built a nation.
