This EMD locomotive is a 4500hp passenger variant high horse power locomotive,
it has an added feature of Head-on-Generation (HOG) for powering the hotel load of the train.
This locomotive is named as "PRATEEK"; it was rolled out as an Celebration Locomotive of Golden Jubilee of Diesel Locomotive Work (DLW), Varanasi, India in January, 2014.
