While going through rear brakes on our Propane Plymouth, we came across two problems common to nearly all cars of this vintage. A collapsed rear hose and two rusted, seized wheel cylinders.
While many people complain about the performance of the braking systems on these vintage cars, and go about replacing and upgrading everything in the loop, finding and fixing issues like this can improve the original systems drastically.
