Best Places to Visit from The Exmoor House C&MC Site ( Dulverton)

Описание: This is the last video from our 2024 "Follow The Sun" Tour. We stayed for a few days at the lovely Exmoor House site in Dulverton which gave us the chance to explore a number of really interesting places in the area. We cycled to the atmospheric Tarr Steps - a medieval 'Clapper Bridge', and had lunch at the very inviting Tarr Farm Inn. We also drove over to Dunster Castle for a return trip which included a fascinating tour of the 1779 water mill which is still producing fllour from organic grain today. Finally we took another bike ride around the Wimbleball Lake where we cycled along the shores to the impressive dam which creates a huge lake. This not only provides a water supply but also is a location used for walking , sailing, camping, angling and kayaking.
