Semiwon is worth a visit for garden landscape lovers. It takes at least an hour out of central Seoul by train and requires an entrance fee (I think it was only KRW1,000 when I went), but can be combined with the "dumulmeori" (meeting of two rivers) and traditional restaurants to make a full day out.
