As the world grapples with the consequences of new and ongoing conflict, COVID-19 continues to affect people across the globe. With limited access to vaccines in countries where most refugees are – the inequity of protection against the virus in different parts of the world continues to be a challenge. Climate change is also a clear and present threat to all of us, especially the most vulnerable communities, including those forced to flee. UNHCR and partners have raced to respond to heightened needs, by supporting governments, enhancing material support and stepping up protection measures and we are looking forward to stronger collaboration to make sure the future will be better.
