How to change a lyre harp string version 2 - much better technique, using guitar string

Описание: I’ve been working on my lyre harps trying to fix the problematic C6 string. I found the solution by using a guitar string and so far it hasn’t broken. It wouldn’t matter how many times I used string 1 from a lyre harp set, the string would always break so I had to look for alternatives. I had a look at a guitar and saw that the smaller strings could be appropriate for a lyre harp. I have never bought guitar strings before but I bought these because I was looking for strings that were some kind of metal, lighter tension, smaller gauge, and with a ball end. Finally after months of trial and error the C6 string works again 🎉 Yesterday I reached 300 subscribers so I’m celebrating that too 🥳

My thoughts on why the string kept breaking:
the 1 string in the lyre harp set was too thick for the amount of tension needed
possibly poorer quality
it’s a theory but I suspect the string in the lyre harp set might work if the distance between the peg and where the string is inserted was shorter, for example the lyre harps where the strings get shorter the higher the notes are and C6 is the shortest string. I could be wrong about this though.

My thoughts on why the guitar string worked:

possibly better quality than a lyre harp string
