In this reflection, we step away from slogans and ask harder questions:

– When housing becomes a financial instrument instead of a shelter?
– When participation in the system feels unavoidable, yet morally unsettling?

This is not a call to withdraw from society.
It is a call to reflect, to realign intention, and to ask how those with means can use what Allah has entrusted to them to restore dignity within the community.

This reflection also sets the tone for the upcoming *Living Halal* gathering, where we will explore practical, ethical, and communal responses to the pressures facing Muslims today.

This is not about blame.
It is about responsibility, conscience, and repair.
