Slide Show - Before the color goes on!
Pre-painting " Test Fit " assembly of my Carl Goldberg
Piper J3 Anniversary Cub 76.5" wingspan. Balsa radio controlled airplane kit built.
Purchased this damaged everyday flyer to restore.
Original covering was beige Monokote, covered now with Sig Koverall.
Used leftover 4yr. old Balsarite for tack, undercoated with waterbase
Minwax Polycryic. Will prime with latex flat white Behr & finish color
latex Behr Cub yellow. Final coat will be Minwax Helmsman Spar
Urethane Satin with Nelson's crosslinker added.
I fly Futaba radio gear & powered with a 4-stroke Saito .65 glow
swinging a 13x6 propeller. Hope to maiden in April!
